At SIMSYS, several teams work together cohesively, with each team dedicating their expertise to optimally and efficiently serve our clients and deliver a quality and comprehensive solution.

Our Business Development and Consultation TeamTeam is our first level presales team and Key Solution Architects who listens to our clients’ and understand their needs to determine and design the best solution to meet the clients’ needs from a top down approach taking into consideration factors such as functional requirements, technical and environment requirements as well as security and implementation methodologies

Our Project Concept Consultants & Design Team are the key design architects and play a crucial role in terms of Information Architecture and the overall site design and layout. Our Concept Consultants are key in ensuring that the structural layout of your system is defined to meet our clients' business and organization needs in relation to the target audience. This is important as this defines the principles of the organizations' system but also ensures that Usability for the target audience is catered for as well as the long term objectives of the organization are considered

Our Project Team is our front line client interfacing and servicing team who are there to manage and facilitate our clients’ projects. Our Project Managers also provide continuous consultation throughout the entire lifecycle of the project starting from Project Kick off to System Commissioning and through to the Maintenance Phase.

Our Development and QC Teams are the heart of our operations. Their expertise ensures that all deliverables are met and delivered to our clients. Their strengths lie in their expert skillsets as well as their knowledge and experience in the field of Project Development and Delivery. After the development of each project is completed, the project goes through our QC team to ensure both quality and accuracy of the developed work(s).

Besides our CORE teams, we also work with wide range of specialist third part vendors such as Media Marketing Solution Specialist and Knowledge Management Consultants to provide our clients with a Complete End to End Solution Package via a Single Source, Single Point of Contact.

Below are the key members of SIMSYS.

Anurax Lian

AnuraxMr Anurax Lian is a Masters graduate from the University of Queensland with a Masters of Science in Computer Science. He is also a Professional Member of the Singapore Computer Society. His fields of expertise are in Distributed Computing Systems, Enterprise Computing Systems, Network Systems, Information Systems, Computer Security and IT Project Management.

He specializes in Business Development, Project Management, and Systems Consultation. His main fields of software development are in Microsoft Visual Studio and Sun Java Enterprise and he has been developing and managing software project using these two products primarily over the past 5 years, with a strong understanding of software development life cycles as well product development life cycles (via maintenance and version control) and has solid project success methodologies. His strengths in Infrastructure and Data Centre Configurations are in Networking and Microsoft Server Technologies. He has setup many Infrastructures ranging from Small Medium Enterprises to large Data Centers Environments using Microsoft Server Technologies. These Servers were deployed using a wide range of Network configuration and setups such as CISCO Systems to IBM and HP Networking Tools.

Project and Solution Consultant

As a Project and Solution Consultant, he is involved in the designing and implementation of the system and architecture for Servers in the various hosting Environments such as MHA, SHINE, GDC. Effective and meaningful consultation ensures that the right product is deployed for the client and that each project solution is optimized to the clients benefit.

Technical Consultant

As a Technical Network and Infrastructure Consultant, he is involved in the setting up and configuration of the Network in various Infrastructures in Singapore as well as around region such, KL and Hong Kong and integrating them together over Public Telco Networks such as Telstra and Telstra Partner Network Lease Line Infrastructure, SingTel and PCCW.

As a Technical Consultant, one of the key objectives is to establish a common / Compliant Network Setup for all client sites. He expertise is in creating VPN linkup for all sites and creating bridging sites to the main HQ Site to create trusted forest networks. His other experiences encompass the setting up of DNS, DHCP, Active Directory Services Servers as well as Network Performance and Load Balancing Marconi Web Accelerators as well as the Installation and configuration of various Network devices such as Network Accelerators (MARCONI), CISCO Routers (8000/2000/1000/800 Series) and Microsoft Network Balancers.

Thariq Ibrahim

ThariqProject Manager and Consultant Mr Thariq Ibrahim has a Masters Degree in MSC (Knowledge Management) from Nanyang Technological University and a Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems from National University of Singapore. His field of expertise is in Information Systems, Information Architecture, Usability Design and IT Project Management.

He has been working as a Project Manager for various government tenders, including the MCYS corporate website and SSC Intranet. He has been managing software projects using Microsoft technologies and Sun Java Enterprise for many years and has a strong understanding of software development life cycles as well product development life cycles (via maintenance and version control) and has solid project success methodologies. 

 

IA, Usability and KM Consultant

Knowledge Management Consultant and Information architecture (IA) is the art of expressing a model or concept of information used in activities that require explicit details of complex systems. Among these activities are library systems, Content Management Systems, web development, user interactions, database development, programming, technical writing, enterprise architecture, and critical system software design. As an Information Architect the role it to define a structural design of for the environments, using methods of organizing and labeling websites, intranets, and online communities, and ways of bringing the principles of design and architecture to the end users.

As a Usability Engineer, this scope entails working on  human-computer interaction, specifically with making human-computer interfaces that have high usability or user friendliness. As a Usability consultant, the role is to define a user-friendly interface that allows users to effectively and efficiently accomplish the tasks for which it was designed and one that users rate positively on opinion or emotional scales. Assessing the usability of an interface and recommending ways to improve it is the purview of the Usability Engineer.

Project Manager

As a Project Manager the role involves the oversight of the entire project, ensuring the scope of the project is met and schedule management along with resource management. The role also includes assisting in the system and technical design as well as quality oversight. As the key point of contact for each project, the Project Manager is in-charge of client interaction and working out all client meetings and requests as well as managing the expectation to ensure the scope of the work is completed. As a Project Mangaer this involves in the gathering of requirements and the development of the requirement documents such as Requirement Specification and Design Specifications. On the design aspect this includes the assessment of the Clients' content to derive the Site Architecture or Site map to determine the Design Architecture and Information Architecture for information flow.

Loh Hon Chun

HonchunMr Loh Hon Chun has almost a decade of expertise in IT Software Engineering. He has been working on projects performing system analysis work, system design, application development and component testing for software application projects. He specializes in client server systems and network programming. He has years of experience in PL SQL programming, Client Server & web technologies such as ASP, J2EE, XML, Visual Basic, .NET technologies and Crystal Reports. He is also familiar with system and network programming using C, C++ and C#.

He has excellent organizational, communication, interpersonal skills and ability to work independently and in a team environment. He also has a strong understanding of software development life cycle as applies successful software development methodologies.

Since 2010, he has been a Project Manager with PMP certification. His years of experience in application development as well as his skillsets and ability to liaise with clients to ensure the requirements are gathered correctly has helped in ensuring the best technical solution for clients.
